Michael Patrick Dugan
Michael Patrick Dugan is a founding partner/member of the Indianapolis firm of Dugan & Voland LLC, which formed in January 2005. For over twenty-six years, he has concentrated his practice in employment and worker’s compensation law and civil appeals.
After receiving his J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis in 1988, Mr. Dugan served as judicial clerk to Justice Brent E. Dickson of the Indiana Supreme Court. Mr. Dugan currently serves on the Appellate Amicus Committee of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. A former player and manager of the Indianapolis Soccer Club, he continues to coach and play soccer.
Sally A. Voland
Sally A. Voland is a founding partner of the Indianapolis firm of Dugan & Voland LLC. She concentrates her practice in employment law and represents private and public sector management in all aspects of worker’s compensation matters.
Ms. Voland received her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law and is a member of all Indiana District Court Bars and the Indiana State Bar. Ms. Voland is a fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. She serves on the Board of Kids’ Chance of Indiana and is past chair and current member of the worker’s compensation section of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. Ms. Voland is a member of the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Institute, the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, and the Indiana State Bar Association. She is a guest lecturer on employment topics and contributes to the SVDP Legal Clinic.
Carol M. Wyatt
Carol M. Wyatt is a partner with Dugan & Voland LLC and focuses her practice on the defense of worker’s compensation and employment related claims. She has defended employer clients in worker’s compensation matters for over 18 years and her practice involves not only litigating disputed worker’s compensation claims but, also, counseling clients on worker’s compensation cost containment and claim management.
In her employment practice, she counsels employers on various employment issues such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA compliance, state leave compliance, and disability. She has represented clients before the ICRC, EEOC, and state and federal court.
Ms. Wyatt graduated cum laude from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 1998 and is a member of Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and Claims Litigation Management as well as the American Bar Association, and the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations. From 2009 to 2015, Ms. Wyatt also served as an officer and board member for the non-profit organization, John P. Craine House.
Molly E. Czernik
Molly E. Czernik is a partner with Dugan & Voland LLC. Ms. Czernik specializes in worker’s compensation matters, whether it involves counseling clients on compliance issues or litigating contested claims and defending employers’ interests before the Board. She also assists clients in other related employment law areas.
Ms. Czernik is licensed to practice law in both Indiana and Illinois and actively practices in both. She obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. While in law school, she participated in the Moot Court Honors Council, the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Council, and served on the Board of The Journal of Computer and Information Law. Ms. Czernik is an active member of the Worker’s Compensation Section of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. She was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Kids Chance of Indiana, and currently serves as the Board’s Treasurer.
Cheryl D. Finchum
Cheryl Finchum is a partner with Dugan & Voland LLC. Ms. Finchum specializes in the defense of worker’s compensation matters, counseling employers in the defense of worker’s compensation matters, representing employers’ interests before the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board, and counseling clients on general employment matters.
Ms. Finchum graduated from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 2001 and is a member and current Chair of the worker’s compensation section of the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana. She is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana Bar Associations as well as the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Institute.
Rachel N. Woloshin
Rachel N. Woloshin is an associate attorney with Dugan & Voland LLC. She concentrates her practice in worker’s compensation matters for national organizations and small, family businesses.
Ms. Woloshin graduated from Duquesne University Law School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2012. During law school, Ms. Woloshin clerked for the Honorable Judge John A. Zottola and also participated in the government and student bar associations. Ms. Woloshin is active in the Hamilton county community as a Board Member for Prevail, Inc. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Indiana Worker’s Compensation Institute, and the Defense Trial Council of Indiana.
